Oliver is a widely experienced commercial lawyer with a corporate, finance and revenue law practice acting for listed and private groups, financial institutions, trustee companies and public sector and non-profit bodies.  

He has advised on many significant financings, joint ventures, and corporate and business acquisitions and reorganisations.  He has practised commercial law in Australia and the United Kingdom.

Oliver has qualifications in accounting, as well as law, and also advises on indirect taxes and trade law. Oliver is a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and sits on the Customs & International Transactions Committee of the Law Council of Australia.  He is also a member of the:
