Stephen is a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation with specialty in Insolvency.

He acts for bankruptcy trustees, voluntary administrators, liquidators and receivers. He regularly advises both individuals and insolvency practitioners in relation to bankruptcy, liquidations, voluntary administrations, deeds of company arrangement, and receiverships. He has been involved in various litigation in relation to the voidable transaction provisions of the Bankruptcy and Corporations Acts.

He is a member of:

• Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia
• Law Council of Australia, Business Law Section, Insolvency and Reconstruction Law Committee.

Stephen is a regular presenter and author of a number of papers and articles on insolvency and commercial litigation topics which have been published in journals and bulletins such as the Insolvency Law Journal; the IPA Australian Insolvency Journal,theLexisNexis Insolvency Law Bulletin,andCCH Corporate News. He is the current author of the Chapter on Family Law and Bankruptcy in the CCH Master Family Law Guide; and contributing author in relation to CCH Australian Family Law & Practice in respect of the subchapter on Enforcement and Bankruptcy.
