Date - 12 May 2020
Venue - WEBINAR

Bartier Perry is pleased to join forces with ESV - Business advice and accounting to present this seminar on the effects that COVID-19 is having on companies, boards, management and their stakeholders.

During this webinar, we will focus on:

  • Directors’ fundamental duties to act with due care, skill and diligence and to act in the best interest of the company in the era of COVID-19.

  • Government stimulus packages and the suite of law reforms designed to assist businesses in financial distress including the $130 billion JobKeeper package.

  • How company directors should continue to reduce their risk of personal liability and how this is impacted by a business’s enrolment in JobKeeper.

  • Practical considerations for directors to consider to ensure that their company continues to trade successfully post COVID-19 and in a manner that affords directors protection from claims including insolvent trading liability.
