PRESS RELEASE: Bartier Perry appoints property and aged care specialist

Highly experienced property partner Craig Munter has joined Bartier Perry as it integrates its service offering to include property, planning and construction in the rapidly changing sector.

Mr Munter has advised clients on a broad range of property matters covering sales, acquisitions, commercial leasing and development.

He also has significant experience advising some of Australia’s largest age care providers.

“Having built a broad practice and client base over a number of years, Bartier Perry offered the perfect environment in which to align my practice with the shifts in this sector,” said Mr Munter.

“Commercial property and related clients are now looking for a full service offering that can address increasingly inter-connected and complex issues from environment and planning to construction. The way the firm has recognised that and is aligning its offering brings exciting opportunities.”

Mr Munter said the rise of online shopping and the subsequent demand for large bulky good warehouses was just one example of where an integrated service offering was important.

“Often its’s not simply a commercial leasing issue, it’s getting the warehouse approved and built. Or there may be corporate structuring or tax issues which require consideration. So being able to say, ‘we can take care of that for you as well,’ is something clients appreciate.

Mr Munter joins Bartier Perry from Makinson d’Apice Lawyers where he was a partner.
