We have a fantastic opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join our dynamic, close knit Commercial Disputes team. This is a full-time permanent position.
You'll play a pivotal role in supporting our high-performing Commercial Disputes team. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside respected partners who collaborate with a diverse range of clients, including SMEs, high net worth individuals, local councils and government entities. Bartier Perry fosters a warm, supportive atmosphere where your talents can thrive.
What does the role involve?
• Efficient diary and file management
• Administrative support to partners and fee earners
• Opening and closing files
• Preparing various documents, including court submissions and correspondence
• Managing client data within our CRM software
• Monthly billing processes
• Assisting with client inquiries and accounts administration tasks
Our ideal candidate will possess:
• 3+ years' experience in a Legal Assistant role or similar capacity
• Strong interest in Commercial Disputes, Building & Construction, and Litigation
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability in time management and organisation
• Collaborative mindset / team player
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Approachable with a positive attitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Familiarity with NSW Courts systems and online registry operations is advantageous
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with composure
