Breaking Glass on Short Term Financial Stress: Alternative finance arrangements available in todays’ market

Date - 30 August 2018
Venue - Bartier Perry

As a flow on effect of the Financial Services Royal Commission, banks are tightening their lending and businesses, who would have previously sought finance from the banks are now being forced to look to alternate or second tier lenders.

It is with the above in mind that Bartier Perry and Glass Financial invite you to a two part series discussing the different types of finance available to business.

Session 1

In this panel session, we will address the needs that most small to medium enterprises face early in the business life cycle; namely a need for urgent funds to facilitate a transaction or to ensure that the business will be able to survive slower periods such as Christmas and New Years.

We will explore the alternative types of short term funding available, and look at the potential tax savings and or consequences which the business may experience depending on their structures.
The panel will be made up of:

  1. Chris Tsovolos, Partner, Private Clients team at Bartier Perry;
  2. Ben Flood, CEO of Glass Financial;
  3. Andrew Grant, Furnish & Finish; and
  4. John Clifford, Spotcap, specialising in commercial lending.
