Join us for a practical discussion on defect claims and the key differences between claims brought under the Home Building Act (HBA) and the Design and Building Practitioners Act (DBPA).

This session will cover:

• an introduction to claims under the Home Building Act and Design and Building Practitioners Act and their time limitations 

• how defect claims are presented under the HBA

• how defect claims are presented under the DBPA

• the role, purpose and required content of the Loulach Schedule

• expert evidence requirements for HBA claims compared to DBPA claims.
