Working Lunch - The Heritage Report

Date - 12 April 2019
Venue - Bartier Perry

Join special guest Stephen Davies (Director, Urbis) and Mary-Lynne Taylor (Special Counsel, Bartier Perry) for a working lunch workshop designed specifically for councils and state government departments where we will discuss the challenges of heritage properties.  Bring all your questions to this event! Otherwise feel free to send your questions in advance to - events@bartier.com.au

The Heritage Report will consider a range of heritage-related issues and is a must for those who have stakes in heritage-listed property.

Our special guests will consider:

  1. Contentious listings and projects

  2. Heritage incentives

  3. Rising number of Interim Heritage Orders at local level

Leading the discussion will be:

  • Stephen Davies one of the country’s most experienced and respected heritage consultants. He is the past Chair of the NSW Heritage Council, and a skilled negotiator who has a keen understanding of the political and administrative processes surrounding heritage matters.

  • Mary-Lynne Taylor - has built an impressive legal practice that focuses exclusively on environmental and planning law. She has extensive experience drafting and advising on planning and heritage agreements.

  • Steven Griffiths – is an Associate in Bartier Perry’s Environment and Planning group. As well as being a specialist environment and planning lawyer, Steven is an experienced town planner with a background in local government in NSW. Steven will chair this event.

There will be plenty of time for questions.
